Journeys
We do not sell packages. Every Nzurie journey is put together from scratch for the people taking it — which means we need to know something about you before we can quote anything sensible.
What follows is where we work and how a journey comes together.
We work in a small number of places rather than a long list. The difference between a good trip and a memorable one is usually knowing the ground — which lodge faces the right way, which guide is worth waiting for, which week to avoid.
Private safari with your own guide and vehicle, not a shared minibus. The Mara and the Serengeti when the timing is right, and quieter conservancies when it is not. Usually seven to ten nights, often paired with the coast.
The Indian Ocean coast, most often as the second half of a safari. Zanzibar for beaches, spice farms and Stone Town; Lamu for something slower and considerably less visited. Five to seven nights is usually right.
Doctor-led Ayurveda and genuine Panchakarma, alongside tea country, the south coast and the cultural triangle. Our wellness programmes run from five to twenty-one nights depending on what you are actually trying to achieve.

Where, roughly when, how many of you, and what you are hoping for. A rough budget helps more than people expect — it saves us both proposing things that were never going to work.

A call, usually half an hour. This is where most of the useful work happens, and where we will tell you if what you have described is not going to do what you want it to.

A written itinerary with what is included, what is not, and what it costs. No pressure and no deadline attached.

Almost nobody books the first version. Change the pace, the properties, the length, the route — that is the point of tailor-made.

A deposit secures it. Your money goes into a trust account and stays there until you have travelled.

You will have a named contact and a number that works while you are away.
